Feathers Women's Social Club is an incorporated association that strives to enrich the lives of lesbians, both couples and singles alike. Our membership represents women of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities and professions, and brings them together in a fun and relaxed environment which is also non-judgmental, as well as physically and emotionally safe. Feathers is also committed to supporting worthy causes and charities that are part of our diverse and wonderful community.
As well as our monthly dances, which are often themed for special occasions, we hold an annual Dog Show, bi-annual trivia nights and bowling competitions, Australia Day and Anzac Day celebrations, games nights and car rallies. There's also the "Girls Friday" group which gets together every month for lunch or a special excursion, and the Theatre Group whose members regularly attend local live theatre productions. Feathers is continually seeking to add new and exciting events to our calendar, and we welcome any suggestions from our members and friends in the gay community.

The National LGBTI Health Alliance was established by a number of organisations from across Australia that provide health-related programs, services and research targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and other sexuality, sex and gender diverse people (LGBTI).
The Alliance acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia, their diversity, histories and knowledge and their continuing connections to land and community. We pay our respect to all Australian Indigenous peoples and their cultures, and to elders of past, present and future generations.
